Senior forward Kevin Robson currently leads the team with 10 points (three goals, four assists). He sat down with IUHOOSIERS.com to answer a few questions about himself.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would probably visit St. Louis, because it is the best city in the country.
Since coming to Indiana, I've learned:
I've learned how to develop relationships with different types of people, how to become better with time management, and how to take good naps.
What will you miss most when you leave Indiana?
I will miss my friends the most. I've made some great friends here, and I definitely will keep in touch with them after I leave.
How would you describe your four years here?
It's been a great four years. I wouldn't give them back for anything. I love this school and it's been the best four years of my life so far.
Who has had the biggest influence in your life and why?
Definitely my parents. They are just the best, and they do everything for me.
Describe your presence on the field. What do you bring to the team?
I bring energy and some creativeness to the team. I like to try to make things happen, and create scoring opportunities for my teammates.
Why do you wear number 16?
I've worn 16 since I was eleven years old on my Scott Gallagher team. I've worn it for every team I've ever been on.
Something that many people don't know about you is:
I get embarrassed really easily, and I blush when I'm nervous.
What are your pre-game rituals or superstitions?
I like to warm up with my shoes untied and do 10 squat jumps before the game starts.
Do you have a nickname that your teammates have given you? What is it and why?
They call me Roby or Rochita or Baller, one of those three. My last name is Robson, so they shorten it for Roby. Rochita is a self-proclaimed nickname I gave myself. Baller is just something that I am, so they call me that.
