BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Members of the Indiana women's basketball team and coaching staff took time out of their busy preseason schedule to volunteer at a pair of events in the Bloomington community on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, along with Director of Women's Basketball Operations Stephanie Siler, junior Amber Jackson and freshmen Jori Davis, Georgia Follmer and Haylie Linn spent time doing basketball-related activities with children at the 2007 Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana Health and Safety Fair, hosted by Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
Prior to the squad's visit to Sherwood Oaks, Legette-Jack and company helped out at the annual Hoosiers Outrun Cancer at Memorial Stadium. The Hoosiers took part in a mile and a half walk and also handed out awards to participants following the 5K race.
