Senior Thomas Richter's run at the ITA Midwest Regional came to an end on Sunday, falling in the quarterfinals to Justin Kronauge from Ohio State, 7-5, 6-3.

Richter, the No. 8 seed, downed Louisville's David Simon in the first round of the singles draw by a score of 6-4, 6-2. He then won a three-set match over Reinoud Haal from Iowa, 5-7, 7-5, 6-3. Next, he downed Wisconsin's Jeremy Sonkin 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals of the main draw. Senior Dara McLoughlin also won his first round match, a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over DePaul's Vanja Grugec. He then faced the No. 9 seed in round two and suffered a disappointing three-set loss, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.

After being defeated in the first round of the main draw, Eilers then suffered a tough three-set match in the consolation bracket.

Richter and Eilers paired up to compete in the doubles main draw. They earned victories in each of their first two matches on Friday, but fell victim to an 8-4 loss in the round of 16 on Saturday.
