BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana's game against Ball State on Saturday, Nov. 3, will kick off at noon EDT at Memorial Stadium. The contest will be televised on the Big Ten Network. It can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network (Don Fischer, Pete Compise and Joe Smith).
Game times are predicated on the Big Ten Conference television agreement with ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Plus and are often not announced until 12 days before kickoff.
On Saturday, the Hoosiers will travel to Madison, Wis., for a matchup with Wisconsin at 11 a.m. CDT (Noon EDT). That game will also be televised on the Big Ten Network. The Hoosiers are 5-3 on the season (2-3 Big Ten) and are looking to top the Badgers for the first time since 2002.
This weekend, James Hardy caught 14 passes for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but it wasn't enough for the Hoosiers Saturday afternoon in a 36-31 loss to Penn State. IU dropped to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Big Ten while the Nittany Lions improved to 6-2 overall with a 3-2 conference mark.
Redshirt sophomore quarterback Kellen Lewis threw for 318 yards and three scores on 30-of-48 passing. He also rushed for a 56-yard touchdown. Hardy was Lewis's main target, posting the second-most receptions in a contest in school history. Hardy became Indiana's all-time receiving touchdown king, breaking Jade Butcher's (1967-69) school record with his 31 career touchdowns.
