Feb. 15, 1996 - Sam Gasowski and Greg Ruminksi both set school records for the Hoosiers at the Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich. Gasowski swam to a time of 19.91 in the 50-yard freestyle, winning the league title in the event, while Ruminski set a school record with his time of 1:44.66 in the 200-yard backstroke. Gasowski's record still stands, while Ruminski broke his own standard twice.
Feb. 16, 1963 - Indiana's men's basketball team recorded a win over No. 4 Illinois in Bloomington, topping the Illini, 103-100.
Feb. 16, 2003 - Indiana's men's tennis team topped Wisconsin in Madison, 5-2. The win marked the Hoosiers' eighth straight to open the season. Jakub Praibis cruised at No. 1 singles, downing the Badgers' Alexander Kasarov 6-0, 6-2.
Feb. 17, 2002 - Jill Chapman notched a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds as Indiana's women's basketball team knocked off No. 15 Minnesota in Bloomington, 73-63. Chapman had a late layup and Erin McGinnis hit a crucial 3-pointer to halt a late Gopher comeback, and the Hoosiers scored their final eight points from the free-throw line as Minnesota was forced to foul.
Feb. 18, 2006 - Annica Lofstedt, Clarissa Wentworth, Leila Vaziri and Allison Kay combined to turn in a school-record time of 3:19.22 to win the 400-yard medley relay title at the 2006 Big Ten Championships. The win was the first for Indiana in the event since the 1981 season.
