Sophomore Alba Berdala started the season ranked No. 86 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll. She sat down with IUHOOSIERS.com to answer a few questions about herself.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would like to go to Tokyo because I have always had that dream.
Since coming to Indiana, I've learned:
To play and become part of a team.
What is your favorite sport besides tennis?
Basketball and soccer.
Who has had the biggest influence in your life and why?
My sister because she is always there when I need her.
What are your pre-game rituals or superstitions?
Too many!
The best thing about Indiana is:
The people.
Name one thing that you wish you were better at?
Being on time.
What do you like best about Coach Loring?
His humor.
Do you have a nickname? What is it and why?
Danger, because I used to say danger instead of watch out.
What are your goals for this year?
Winning Big Ten's.
