FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Junior Kyle Jenkins earned All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, March 10.
Jenkins best leap of the day was 15.77 meters. He earned the second All-America honor of his career. Jenkins finished fourth in the triple jump at last season's NCAA Indoor Championships.
"Kyle has continued the tradition of great IU jumpers for us," interim head men's track and field coach Wayne Pate said. "He did a good job for us today, and we're looking forward to him continuing his success in the outdoor season."
Senior Kiwan Lawson also competed at the NCAA Championships, finishing 10th in the long jump on the first day.
