March 19, 2005 - Freshman Zach Boswell went 5-for-5 with four RBIs, three doubles and a run scored as the IU baseball team topped Kent State, 11-6 at McKechnie Field, the spring training home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, in Bradenton, Fla. Boswell's three doubles were good for an Indiana school record.
March 19, 2005 - Indiana wrestler Joe Dubuque won the first of his two national titles at 125 pounds with a victory over Illinois's Kyle Ott in the championship bout.
March 21, 2005 - Goalkeeper Jessica Goldner faced 29 shots as the Hoosiers' 12th-ranked water polo team fell to No. 6 Hawaii in Honolulu, 10-8. The 29 shots faced tied for the second-most in school history at the time, and less than a month later, Goldner would break her own school record with 33 shots faced against Michigan on April 18.
March 22, 1990 - Indiana diver Mark Lenzi defended his NCAA crown in the one-meter, turning in a score of 599.00 to win his second straight national title in the event and end his career on a high note.
March 25, 1993 - Calbert Cheaney scored 32 points to lead the Indiana men's basketball team to an 82-69 win over Louisville in the NCAA Tournament. In the process, Cheaney set a school record for most points in a single season, finishing the year with 785.
