Bohonyi Finishes Sixth on Platform at Zone C Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Will Bohonyi and David Legler both reached the finals of the platform on Sunday, March 4, the third and final day of the Zone C Diving Championships on the campus of the University of Michigan.

Bohonyi finished sixth in the event with a total score of 617.20. Bohonyi sat seventh after the preliminaries with a score of 287.55.

Legler turned in a seventh-place finish from the platform, posting a score of 615.60 to finish just off Bohonyi's pace. Legler was fifth after the prelims with a score of 314.55.

"I'm proud of our effort," Indiana diving coach Dr. Jeff Huber said. "Now we'll get ready for Spring Nationals. I know Taylor (Roberts) is really motivated for it, as are our other guys, and now we'll cheer our swimmers on at NCAAs."

Indiana returns to action at the Indiana Senior State Meet from March 9-11, and will then head to the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis from March 15-17.
