Hoosiers Set To Host Spring Tournament On Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University volleyball team will host a spring tournament on Saturday, April 21. The event, which will be held on two courts in University Gym, will feature the Hoosiers competing against IUPUI, Indiana State, Ball State and Western Kentucky.
The Hoosiers will take on IUPUI at 9:30 a.m., Ball State at 11 a.m., Indiana State at 2:30 p.m. and close out the event with a matchup against Western Kentucky at 4 p.m.
In addition, Ball State and Indiana State will face off at 9:30, Western Kentucky and IUPUI play at 11, IUPUI and Ball State take on each other at 1, Western Kentucky and Indiana State play at 1, Western Kentucky and Ball State play at 2:30 and Indiana State and IUPUI close out the event at 4.
This will the first live-game home action for new IU head coach Sherry Dunbar, who took over the program in December. In four years as the head coach at the College of Charleston, she compiled an overall record of 113-22, won four Southern Conference regular season titles, three Southern Conference Tournament titles and took three trips to the NCAA Regionals.
