Indiana Football Hall of Fame to Induct Six Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Football Hall of Fame will hold an induction ceremony for six Indiana University football greats on June 23 at Memorial Stadium. The Hall of Fame will induct Brad Bomba Sr. (1954-56), Jade Butcher (1967-69), Doug Crusan (1965-67), Harry Gonso (1967-69), Harold Mauro (1965, 1967) and E.G. White (1967, 1969-70) into its Class of 2007.
The dinner and ceremony will be held in the Hoosier Room at IU's Memorial Stadium. A reception from 5:30-6:30 p.m. EDT will kick off the festivities with dinner slated to start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 each, and are available through B.J. Ferrand in the Indiana football office. Checks should be made out to "Indiana 2007 Induction," and all extra funds will be donated to the Hall of Fame.
The Indiana Football Hall of Fame was started in Jan. 1973 as an affiliation of the Indiana Football Coaches Association. Its purpose is to establish scholarships and endowments for excellence in football in the state of Indiana. The Coaches Association formulates and directs all policies concerning nominees for induction into the Hall of Fame. Candidates include coaches, players, officials, sport media and citizens of our State who made prominent and lasting contributions in the advancement of football excellence. There are currently 520 members of the Hall of Fame.
