During the course of preseason workouts, IUHoosiers.com will be sitting down with some of the players from the 2007 football team to learn a little bit more about them. Today's guest is linebacker Geno Johnson.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
"Paris. I've never been overseas and would like to travel somewhere new."
What is something about you that would surprise most people?
"I can play the piano. My grandmother taught me how to play gospel music when I was younger."
What class are you looking forward to most this semester?
"My statistics class. It will be a challenge since I haven't taken a math course since high school."
Which teammate has the best sense of humor?
"Brandon Walker-Roby."
If you weren't playing football, what sport would you be playing?
"Definitely basketball."
What game are you looking forward to most this season?
"Indiana State. I can't wait for the opener."
Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
"My father. He taught me how to play the game of football, raised me and taught me important life lessons."
What is your favorite place on campus to go to relax?
"The locker room lounge."
What is your favorite food?
"Meat lovers pizza from Pizza Hut."
Do you have any pregame superstitions?
"I pray before every game. I believe my performance will go down if I don't pray before we head out on the field."
