Lineup Released for Olympia Fields

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's golf head coach Mike Mayer announced his lineup for the upcoming Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. The event will be hosted by the University of Illinois and Olympia Fields Golf Club on Sunday-Monday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
After a runner-up finish at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate (Sept. 22-23), junior Seth Brandon will lead the Hoosiers in the No. 1 spot. Brandon has played in all three IU tournaments this season and paces the team with a 73.11 scoring average.
Behind Brandon in the second position is fellow junior Jorge Campillo. The Caceres, Spain, native is making his fourth straight appearance and is second on the team with a 74.00 scoring average. He is coming off a tie for fifth place - his best finish of the season - at Wolf Run.
Playing in the No. 3 spot is Alex Martin. The sophomore has recorded a 222 in all three tournaments this season, good for a 74.00 average. Martin has finished in a tie for 22nd, 16th and 24th in the first three events.
Following Martin is the third junior in the lineup, Drew Allenspach. The Sugar Land, Texas, product entered the lineup at the Gopher Invitational and has not relinquished his spot after a share of 16th and a tie for 29th at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate. Allenspach holds a 74.17 scoring average in six rounds.
Rounding out the lineup and returning to action for the second time this season is senior Santiago Quirarte. He struggled to a tie for 63rd at the season-opening Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 10-11) following a 231 total (78-76-77).
