BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Hartford, NCAA and Basketball Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman gave IU student-athletes an off-the-court lesson in personal finance on Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the Wendell W. Wright Education Building on the campus of Indiana University.
From understanging the risks of bad credit to budgeting for costs after college, the Playbook For Life provides practical tips to help student-athletes and all college students make smart personal finance decisions. Along with Lieberman, Greg Shaheen, an IU alum and the NCAA senior vice president of basketball business strategies, spoke to a full house on Tuesday night. The program was developed by The Hartford as part of the company's philanthropic focus on education and its corporate partnership with the NCAA.
