The registration deadline is July 1, 2008, but register early as camps fill up fast.
Current and former IU players will participate in each camp to work with the campers and pass on first-hand knowledge of elite skills. There will also be time for campers to ask questions and get to know the players. Successful coaches from all levels (high school, club and other colleges) will be present as well.
Camp director and IU Head Coach Sherry Dunbar is in her second year with the Hoosieres. She catapulted Indiana back on track this past season by compiling more Big Ten wins than the previous three seasons combined. She coached senior Lauren Ditteon to Honorable Mention All-Big Ten accolades and junior Juli Pierce to Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week Honors. Coach Dunbar has been involved in volleyball at many levels. Her career started with her playing days at Ball State University where she was a four-year starter for the Cardinals and named to the Ball State All-Decade squad. She had assistant coaching stints at the University of San Francisco and the University of Tennessee before starting her head coaching career at the College of Charleston. While at Charleston, she posted a 113-22 overall record and three NCAA tournament berths.
