Gruter Remains Unbeaten at Louisville Invitational

Louisville Invitational Tournament Brackets
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Hoosiers continued competition at the Louisville Invitational Tournament on Saturday. Sophomore Santiago Gruter continued his unbeaten streak in the tournament, advancing in singles and doubles action.
In the `A' flight singles, Gruter defeated Marek Czerwinski (6-3, 4-6, 6-3) and Viktor Maksimcuk (6-3, 6-4) of Louisville to advance to the finals. He will take on Robert Rotaru, also of Louisville, on Sunday for the championship.
Gruter and freshman Stephen Vogl advanced to the semifinals in the `A' flight doubles, winning 8-3 over their foes from Cleveland State. The IU duo will take on a team from DePaul on Sunday, with the winner advancing to the finals.
