IU Softball To Hold Holiday Skills Camp

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The new coaching staff of the Indiana softball program, led by head coach Michelle Gardner, will be hosting the 2008 Holiday Softball Skills Camp on Saturday, Dec. 20 in Mellencamp Pavilion. In addition to Gardner, assistant coaches Amanda Rivera and Christy Hebert will also be on hand to provide skill instruction as well as select members of the 2009 IU Softball team.
Registration begins at 8:30am with the morning session of the camp to begin at 9:00am, focusing on specialty skills. Campers will then have an hour for lunch before closing the day with station work from 1:00pm through 4:00pm. All campers will also receive a t-shirt with their registration.
Campers are asked to bring their own bat, helmet, batting gloves, mitt, tennis shoes (or molded cleats) and catcher's gear with them to the camp.
The John Mellencamp Pavilion is located at the north end of the parking lot between Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
