Team Notes
• The Hoosiers improved to 9-6 in five appearances at the Maui Invitational.
• The Hoosiers made a defensive stand in the final seconds when a shot could have won a game or tied the contest for an opponent (IUPUI).
• Coach Tom Crean has now won 193 games in nine plus seasons during his coaching career.
• This was the first time Indiana had 5 players score in double figures since Nov. 20 of last season against UNC Wilmington.
• This was the first time the Hoosiers have shot above 50 percent from the field in a game since Feb. 23 at Northwestern (56.1). The Hoosiers shot 58.8 percent on Wednesday against Chaminade.
• This also was the first time IU has made 30 or more field goals since they made 31 against Michigan State on Feb. 16, 2008.
• This was the first time IU has shot 70 percent or better from the floor in a half since March 1, 2006 against Purdue when they shot 71.4 percent in the second half (15-of-21). Against Chaminade, IU shot 70.4 percent (19-of-27).
Player Notes
• Freshman Tom Pritchard led the Hoosiers with 19 points and nine rebounds. He leads the team averaging 14.4 points per game and 7.6 rebounds.
• Junior Devan Dumes had 14 points snd matched his season-high with five boards (Notre Dame).
• Freshman Verdell Jones III had 13 points and was six of 10 from the field. His six field goals was a season-high. He also had four assists.
• Freshman Malik Story had a season-high 12 points. He is averaging 10.5 points in the last two games.
• Freshman Daniel Moore scored a season-high 10 points and added five assists.
• Freshman Nick Williams added eight points and block.
• Freshman Matt Roth had a three-pointer and senior Kyle Taber added a basket.
