O'Connell Named All-Big Ten

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten announced the All-Big Ten first and second teams on Thursday. Indiana junior Meg O'Connell has earned second team honors, the first honor of her career.
O'Connell was the leader in points and goals for Indiana. She had 16 points and 7 goals on the season. Her three game-winning goals are the fourth most in a season for a Hoosier, and her seven goals are the seventh most in a season in IU History.
Indiana saw its season come to a close on Thursday, suffering a loss to the eighth-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. The Hawkeyes moved one step closer to a third straight Big Ten Tournament Championship, defeating the Hoosiers 5-2.
