Coaches Vs. Cancer Sponsors Suits and Sneakers Weekend

Kansas City, Missouri - Join head college basketball coaches and their coaching staffs across the country as they wear sneakers with their game attire to show their support in the fight against cancer. National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) member coaches want to express the importance of cancer prevention and early detection.
Coach Sampson and his staff will don sneakers in Sunday's game against Northwestern.
Earlier this year, Coach Sampson held a Coaches vs. Cancer Breakfast which helped raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
"Cancer is one of those horrible diseases that, directly or indirectly, affects everybody," said Sampson. "I know my wife Karen and I have been touched by cancer on both sides of our family, so this is an opportunity to give back."
