Hoosiers Continue to Give Back to Bloomington Community

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team took time out of their busy weekend schedule to visit the Bloomington Shalom Community Center on Friday, Feb. 15 and Bloomington Hospital the following Saturday.
At the Shalom Center on Friday, members of the coaching staff helped prepare food for the lunch hour. The Shalom Community Center is a safe, daytime resource for people experiencing homelessness and poverty.
On Saturday, members of the coaching staff paid a visit to the pediatrics unit of Bloomington Hospital and gave out posters and stickers to patients. The team has devoted the Big Ten portion of the season to children suffering from illnesses.
The Hoosiers return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 20 when they take on Wisconsin at the Kohl Center in Madison at 8 p.m. ET.
