Hoosiers To Face Minnesota In Big Ten Quarterfinals

Bloomington, Indiana - Indiana, the third seed, will take on Minnesota, the sixth seed, in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis. The game will tipoff Frday at 9 p.m. on the Big Ten Network with the winner facing Purdue or Illinois on Saturday at 4:05 p.m.

The Gophers

Minnesota advanced today by defeating Northwestern, 55-52. The Wildcats had a 16-point lead in the first half.

Series History

Indiana holds an 88-63 lead in the series. The Hoosiers defeated Minnesota, 69-55, on March 5 in Bloomington and 65-60, January 17 in Minneapolis.

In their only meeting in the Big Ten Tournament, Minnesota defeated IU, 71-55, in 2005 in Chicago.
