Rain Forces Postponement of Hoosiers Game Against Rutgers

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Indiana Hoosiers and Rutgers Scarlet Knights softball game on Friday afternoon was postponed with two outs in the top of the first inning due to rain. The Scarlet Knights were leading, 1-0 and had the bases loaded when the umpires stopped play. There was approximately a 10 minute delay before it was determined that the rain was going to remain in the area for most of the evening and the game would not be restarted on Friday.

The game is scheduled to restart at noon on Saturday where it was stopped.
