Football in Full Pads at The Rock

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -Head coach Bill Lynch and the Indiana football team practiced in pads for the first time Friday afternoon. The Hoosiers hit the field for nearly two hours on the turf at Memorial Stadium for their third practice of the spring.

Indiana will return to Memorial Stadium in full pads for a 10:30 a.m. practice on Saturday. The team will take Sunday and Monday off before returning for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday practices next week.
IU will holds its first controlled scrimmage at 1 p.m. next Saturday. Lynch will present awards to the top finishers in the IU Circle of Life Mini Marathon and 5K races prior to the scrimmage at The Rock.
