Today we arrived at the Penn State Golf Course at about 8 a.m, with tee-times starting at 9 a.m. We were all encouraged by promising moments yesterday and ready to post a good number today. The team got off to a bit of slow start, but started picking up the pace midway through the round, and finished with a score of 300, to sit in 4th going into tomorrow's final round.
The team grabbed some food after the round, and spent about an hour hitting some balls as well as getting in some extra putting practice. Since we finished early in the afternoon, we all had some free time to relax, get dinner with our families, followed by our evening team meeting.
The meeting went well, as the team used this time to get pumped up for tomorrow. Literally. Each player announced the fist pump they would perform during the final round, whether a running pump, a subtle wave or something in between. The mood in the meeting was great, each of us chatting about our favorite shots or holes of the day. Each of us are all really looking forward to improving our position along with our team score for the 3rd day in a row.
We play with Michigan and Wisconsin once again, with tee times starting at 8 a.m.

Today we played our first two rounds of the Big Ten Championship. We started our day with breakfast at the hotel and got to the course around 7:30 a.m. to get warmed up. We were paired with Ohio State today and shot rounds of 306 and 302 to finish the day fifth.
After all of our players were finished for the day, we were provided with dinner at the course and got in a little bit of putting practice. We came back to the hotel for a quick team meeting to go over high and low points, and to go through ways in which we can improve our position tomorrow. We all felt as though we played about average today, leaving a couple shots out on the golf course, so we are all anxious to go out and try the Penn State golf course again.
Tomorrow we are paired with Wisconsin and Michigan starting at 9 a.m. We are all looking forward to another fun day, along with our favorite family and friends who have made the trip from all over to support the Hoosiers!
