IU Athletics Class of 2008 to be Honored

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The I-Association, in conjunction with the Indiana Department of Athletics, Student Development and Compliance will hold an open house in the main lobby of Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 3, recognizing the 2008 Hoosier student-athlete graduating class.
The class, which is comprised of 81 student-athletes, will be honored with a short program at 1 p.m. ET, while the open house is slated to go from 12-2 p.m. IU Director of Athletics Rick Greenspan, Hoosier football standout and future NFL player Tracy Porter and I-Association President Pat O'Conner will provide remarks during the program.
"We are extremely excited to honor our student-athletes at an event that highlights their participation and contributions to Indiana University," said IU Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services Kimya Massey. "Our student-athletes strive to achieve at the highest levels both academically and athletically and this is the pinnacle of their career. We wish them well as they embark on future endeavors and look forward to their continued involvement at Indiana University in the future."
