Hoosiers Overcome Tough Start To Defeat Mercyhurst

ERIE, Pa. - The 17th ranked Indiana women's water polo team had to rally after a poor start to come away with an 11-7 win over Gannon University Lakers on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period but the Hoosiers (14-13, 3-1 CWPA West) got it in gear after that with seven goals in the second frame to get the win.
Maggie Hannon, Kate Dunn, Brooke Zimmerman and Brittany Estrada each tallied two goals in the game while Nicole Redder, Amy Moore and Kelsey Campbell each scored one goal for Indiana.
The Hoosiers will play their third game of the day against a CWPA West opponent later on Saturday at Grove City.
