Today was the practice round day. Again we were able to sleep in some. We all feel relaxed as there is no homework to do. We got to breakfast at 9:20 and afterwards headed to the golf course. The practice round went well. We hit shots and enjoyed playing on such a wonderful and challenging golf course. After the round we went to dinner and then to a rules meeting. The rules' meeting was short and sweet (literally...there were lots of deserts!). I felt a lot of camraderie and we all saw people that we have played with as young kids or that we knew from previous tournaments.
Good Night. A big day lies ahead!

It was a beautiful morning. The Hoosiers arose at their leisure and worked out. Kelleye and I went early and then ate a wonderful breakfast in the Hoyt room in our hotel. It is a charming place we are staying. In the afternoon we went to the golf course to practice. While it was hot today it was not too bad. We all enjoyed it. My favorite part of the practice was a putting drill we do as a team called, "team circle putting". It is a drill where we depend on our teammates to make a putt before we can make the putt more challenging. We cannot finish this drill alone. We have to finish as a team. After practicing we all went shopping. Personally, I bought a pair of shoes. Anita bought a shirt. Everyone else just was window shopping. We finished our night with a great meal of pizza and salads.

What defines a travel day? Well, some are more stressful then others. Luckily I did my laundry yesterday so it wasn't too hectic in the morning trying to pack. Things were clean and ready to be stuffed before I rushed out the door to find a stretch limo waiting for me and the rest of the golf team.
Georgia has welcomed the Hoosiers graciously with its green, green landscape. While the drive from Atlanta to Athens was about an hour and a half it seemed shorter as I slept much of the way and the other time the team was enjoying good music.
