Big Ten Network Celebrates Indiana Day on June 11

CHICAGO - On Wednesday, June 11, the Big Ten Network shouts "Let's go, Hoosiers!" with 24 consecutive hours of Indiana programming.
The day will include some of Indiana's best performances in 2007-08, including the thrilling Old Oaken Bucket Game against Purdue, the hard-fought men's basketball victory at Illinois, Tyler Cox's walk-off grand slam in the Big Ten Tournament, Jorge Campillo's Big Ten men's golf title and a pair of men's soccer victories, including one against top-ranked UCLA.
At 9 p.m. ET, the Big Ten Network will present a special edition of Big Ten Tonight, the Indiana Year in Review. The show will recap all the great Hoosier moments of the past 12 months.
In addition to the most recent triumphs, the network will also re-air Indiana victories from the series, Big Ten's Greatest Games, including the men's basketball game Kentucky (1990) and the football game against Illinois (1999).
Throughout the month of June, the Big Ten Network will air university-themed programming for a full 24 hours devoted to each of the Big Ten member institutions, including Purdue (June 2), Iowa (June 4), Michigan (June 5), Illinois (June 9), Indiana (June 11), Northwestern (June 12), Ohio State (June 16), Penn State (June 18), Wisconsin (June 19), Minnesota (June 23) and Michigan State (June 25).

• Indiana 27, Purdue 24 (11/17/07)
The Hoosiers reclaimed the Old Oaken Bucket with an emotional 27-24 home victory against Purdue. Austin Starr's 49-yard field goal with 30 seconds left sealed the team's first bowl bid in 14 years.
8 a.m. Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament Semifinal
• Indiana 1, Michigan State 0 (11/9/07)
The Hoosiers outshot the Spartans 17-8 and their persistence paid off in the 78th minute, when freshman Neil Wilmarth scored the game's only goal. The win sent Indiana into the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game.
10 a.m. Big Ten's Greatest Games
• Football: Indiana 34, Illinois 31 (OT) (10/2/99)
Antwaan Randle-El generated 422 yards total offense, and led Indiana to a thrilling 34-31 overtime win against Illinois in Bloomington.
12 p.m. Big Ten's Men's Basketball
• Indiana 83, Illinois 79 (2OT) (2/7/08)
Armon Bassett scored 11 of his 16 points in the second overtime and Eric Gordon scored a team-high 19 points in front of a hostile crowd at Illinois' Assembly Hall. Indiana notched its first win in Champaign since 1999.
2 p.m. Big Ten Men's Soccer
• Indiana 1, UCLA 0 (9/2/07)
Kevin Noschang's second goal in as many games lifted eighth-ranked Indiana over top-ranked UCLA, 1-0, in front of a record-setting crowd of more than 7,000.
4 p.m. Big Ten Men's Golf Championship
Jorge Campillo earned individual medalist honors at the 2008 Big Ten Championships at the Forest Akers West Course in East Lansing, Mich. Campillo shot a five-under 67 on the tournament's final day to claim a two-shot victory.
5 p.m. Big Ten's Men's Basketball
• Indiana 83, Illinois 79 (2OT) (2/7/08)
Armon Bassett scored 11 of his 16 points in the second overtime and Eric Gordon scored a team-high 19 points in front of a hostile crowd at Illinois' Assembly Hall. Indiana notched its first win in Champaign since 1999.

Calbert Cheaney scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half as IU held off Jamal Mashburn and Kentucky, 87-74. Ten of the Hoosiers' final 18 points came at the foul line.

Tyler Cox blasted a walk-off grand slam to give the Hoosiers an 11-8 win against Penn State and advance the team into the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. Cox's home run atoned for his error in the top of the ninth that allowed the go-ahead run to score.
