BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University head softball coach Michelle Gardner sat down with IUHoosiers.com recently to talk about her transition to Indiana, playing style and a variety of other topics.

Gardner was named head softball coach at Indiana on June 9, becoming the eighth head coach in IU softball history. She comes to Indiana from Nevada, where she built the Wolfpack program from the ground up. This past season, Gardner and the Wolfpack advanced to the final game of the UCLA Regional after picking up their first-ever NCAA Tournament wins with a pair of triumphs over Purdue.
