Lynch to Throw Out First Pitch at Indianapolis Indians Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head football coach Bill Lynch will throw out the ceremonial first pitch when the Indianapolis Indians host the Syracuse Chiefs on Monday, July 28. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis.
Fans can stop by the center field entrance to pick up Indiana Football posters, schedule cards and season and single game ticket information. Select Kids' Zone inflatables will be available for younger fans, and members of the IU Athletic Department will be on site to answer questions regarding the upcoming season.

Fresh off the excitement of a seven-win season and a trip to the Insight Bowl, the Hoosiers will play an IU-record eight games at Memorial Stadium in 2008. Tickets are $39 each for the first seven games of the 2008 slate, with the Nov. 8 season finale against Wisconsin at $49. Youth tickets for all eight games are $25 each.
Additionally, the Coca Cola Family 4 Pack is back for its third season in 2008. IU Athletics has once again teamed up with Coca Cola for the first seven home games this season. Fans can purchase four end zone seats, four soft drinks, four hot dogs and four popcorns for only $96.
In addition to single-game tickets for the '08 campaign, season tickets are still on sale for $249 to the general public. Youth season tickets cost $120 for the eight-game package.
The Hoosiers will kick things off at The Rock on August 30 with Western Kentucky coming to Bloomington. To purchase tickets, visit the IU Athletics Ticket Office in Assembly Hall or call 866-IUSPORTS (487-7678). The ticket office is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
