BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University Volleyball program will host a pair of Hoosier Hitter volleyball clinics once again in 2008. Hoosier Hitter volleyball clinics are for boys and girls ages 6-13 that have not yet reached the ninth grade.
Clinics will consist of IU Volleyball players and coaches teaching the fundamentals of the game using regular and lightweight training volleyballs. With Hoosier Hitters, each participant receives two clinics, a t-shirt and free admission for the Hoosier Hitter to the IU matches on the days of the clinics. Hoosier Hitters is limited to 80 participants and spots go fast, so sign up early! A $10 donation to Indiana University Volleyball is appreciated.
The first clinic is scheduled for Sept. 27 (Purdue match) and the second session is set for Nov. 22 (Northwestern match). Both clinics will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and take place inside University Gymnasium located on the corner of 10th street and the 45-46 Bypass.
