No. 18 Hoosiers Begin Season on Saturday

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - The Indiana University men's golf team will host the Wolf Run Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13-14, in Zionsville, Ind. The event will be played at Wolf Run Golf Club. The course is set up as a par 71 with a yardage of 7,195.
Fourteens teams will compete at the event and will be split up in the following five groups for the first day:
Group 1: Indiana, Illinois, Kent State
Group 2: Ball State, Kentucky, Louisville
Group 3: Michigan, Missouri, Toledo
Group 4: Eastern Michigan, North Florida, Purdue
Group 5: IUPUI, Princeton and individuals
The 2008 Wolf Run Intercollegiate consists of 54 holes with 36 holes played Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Scoring for the event will be five players, counting the low four scores each round.
Indiana finished third out of 15 teams at last season's Wolf Run Intercollegiate. Seth Brandon (2nd) and Jorge Campillo (T-5th) each recorded top-five finishes a year ago. A shotgun start is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday.
