Plotner Leads Hoosiers to 70th Annual Indiana Intercollegiates Win

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Redshirt senior Brennon Plotner paced the Indiana men's cross country team to the title of the 70th Annual Indiana Intercollegiates with a score of 33 points on the IU Course on Friday, Sept. 19.
Plotner paced the field of 179 crossing the finish line in 25:03. Redshirt freshman Andrew Poore followed in second in a personal-best 25:10. Sophomore Cole Hardacre placed fifth in 25:34. Redshirt freshman Andy Weatherford crossed the finish line 25:46 for 10th place, while senior Timothy McLeod finished in 26:03 for 15th place. Sophomore Jacob Laird placed 23rd overall in 26:20 and redshirt freshman rounded out the IU pack in 24th place with a time of 26:26.
The Hoosiers return to action on Oct. 4 when they travel to Stillwater, Okla., for the Oklahome State Cowboy Jamboree.
