BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Redshirt junior Wendi Robinson paced the Indiana women's cross country team as the Hoosiers hosted the 27th Annual Indiana Intercollegiates at the IU Course on Friday, Sept. 19. The women's team finished second among the field of 21 with 57 points.

In women's scored 5K, Robinson recorded a career best when she crossed the finish line in 17:57 to take second overall. Her time was the 12th fastest time recorded by a Hoosier on the 5K course. Redshirt sophomore Sarah Pease finished fifth overall in 18:24 and was followed by senior Kristina Trcka in eighth with at time of 18:38. Freshman Chelsea Blanchard finished in a career-best 18:52. Redshirt junior Caity Lauer placed 30th in 19:32, while freshmen Kaylan Comer (19:39 - career best) and Breanne Ehrman (19:42 - career best) followed in 32nd and 35th, respectively. Sophomore Natalie Goolik rounded out the Hoosier pack in 53rd place with a time of 20:17.

In the women's open 5K, freshman Erin Walgamuth led IU with a third place finish and a time of 19:41. Redshirt junior Molly Beckwith followed closely in fourth to finish in 19:42. Freshman Helene Delone also competed in the open race, finishing 14th overall with a time of 20:49.
