Day Two Report From New Year's Invitational

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Day two of the New Year's Invitational is in the books and IU's Alex Martin remains in the top-25, owning a share of 15th place with a two-round score of 145 (72-73). There are 36 more holes to play in the event.
Martin was not the only Hoosier to stroke a 73 on the second day, however, as Brandon Pike played extremely well in his second-round 73 to jump nearly 20 spots on the individual leaderboard. Chase Wright joins Martin in the top-half of the field after carding scores of 74 and 76 to put himself in a tie for 37th place.
Ren Han has posted a pair of sub-80 totals with a 75 and 78 in his first two rounds. David Erdy (76-82=158), Andrew Frandsen (76-85=161) and Ben Bellville (84-80=164) are also in the competition.
