* Indiana still holds a 101-72 lead in the all-time series with Ohio State.
* For the second game in a row the Hoosiers pulled down 15 offensive rebounds, tying a season-high. It's also the seventh time in the last nine games that Indiana has reached double figures in offensive rebounds.
* Indiana also outscored the Buckeyes in second chance points in the game, 10-8, and it's also the third consecutive game the Hoosiers have held an advantage in second chance points.
* The Hoosiers also had an advantage in total rebounds, outrebounding the Buckeyes 36-30. This is the fourth consecutive opponent the Hoosiers have outrebounded their opponent and the eighth time this season.
* Indiana had 34 points in the paint against a much taller and longer Ohio State team, the eighth time in 16 games that the Hoosiers have scored 30 or more points in the paint.
* Indiana made 10 free throws in the game, which is two more than the Buckeyes and the ninth time this season the Hoosiers have outscored their opponent at the foul line.
Player Notes
* Freshman forward Tom Pritchard recorded his fifth double-double of the season with his 16-point and 11-rebound effort against the Buckeyes in his home state.
* Freshman Forward Nick Williams continued to shoot very well from the field in Big Ten play following his 4-for-8 effort from the floor at Ohio State. He is now 22-for-42 (.524) in his last four games (all Big Ten games).
* Freshman guard Verdell Jones III joined Pritchard in double figures with 12 points and also added four rebounds and two assists.
* Junior guard Devan Dumes, coming off a sprained ankle at Illinois on Saturday, played a team-high 31 minutes and scored eight points and pulled down five rebounds.
* Senior forward Kyle Taber scored four points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists in 23 minutes off the bench.
* Freshman Broderick Lewis scored his first career points as a Hoosier on 3-for-4 shooting from the foul line while also pulling down two rebounds in a career-high nine minutes of action.
* Freshman Malik Story scored two points, one rebound and one assist.
* Sophomore Brett Finkelmeier corralled three rebounds and handed out an assist in eight minutes of play.
* Freshman guard Matt Roth snared a pair of rebounds and had a sensational block from behind on an Ohio State fastbreak for his first career blocked shot.
* Steven Gambles and Tijan Jobe came in off the bench and played two and six minutes, respectively.
