On the win:
"I'm just really proud of these young ladies, their effort, their commitment to each other and their commitment to our staff. These young ladies really understand the values of great coaches, and they really stepped it up today. Our defense is getting better and better and our point guard (Jamie Braun) is really making a statement and really being the general of our team. Finally, I couldn't be more proud of Whitney (Thomas) because she's over 1,000 points, and knocking on 1,000 rebounds door and that's a credit to her effort and ability to just play the game."
On the commitment to defense:
