BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - On Friday night at Armstrong Stadium, all fans are encouraged to bring their dogs with them to watch the IU women's soccer team take on No. 20 Michigan State starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be giveaways as well as a halftime performance by the Bloomington Police Department's K-9 unit.
There will be a number of local business handing out information about a variety of dogs as well as other prizes. All dogs are welcome as long as they have all of their vaccinations and they must remain on a leash at all times.
The Hoosiers (8-3-0, 0-2 Big Ten) are off to their best start in school history and will be looking to get back to even in conference play this weekend with a pair of home games. After Friday's game against the Spartans, the Illinois Fighting Illini will come to Bloomington for a Sunday afternoon game starting at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free to all IU women's soccer matches this season.
