Coach Crean Attends Jimmy V Classic Auction Dinner

New York, New York - The coaches of the six Jimmy V Basketball Classics teams are in New York tonight for the 15th Anniversary Jimmy V New York Basketball Classic Dinner Auction, presented by UnderArmour.
Led by recent Naismith Hall of Fame inductee C. Vivian Stringer (Rutgers), Amanda Butler (Florida) will also represent the Jimmy V Women's Classic teams, and Brad Stevens (Butler), John Thompson III (Georgetown), Tom Crean (Indiana) and Jamie Dixon (Pittsburgh) represent the four Jimmy V Men's Classic teams.
ESPN anchors Hannah Storm and Scott Van Pelt are co-emcee's, and The V Foundation's 2009 Comeback Award recipient Tiffara Steward of Farmingdale State will receive the award that celebrates Jim Valvano's "never give up" spirit.
The Hoosiers will face Pittsburgh at 9 p.m., December 8 in Madison Square Garden in the event which will air on ESPN.
