Hoosiers in Florida for The Renaissance Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's golf team wraps up the fall portion of their 2009-2010 schedule this weekend, heading south for The Renaissance Invitational in Naples, Fla. The tournament is scheduled to run two days Nov. 1-2. Thirty six holes to be played on Sunday, and the final round coming on Monday.
Indiana's line-up will include Alex Martin, Chase Wright, Brant Peaper, David Erdy and Corey Ziedonis.
The expected playing field includes 12 teams: Ball State, Bowling Green, Campbell, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Liberty, Marshall, Miami (OH), Penn State, Troy, Western Kentucky and host-school Xavier.
The Renaissance Golf Club (par 72; 7,046 yards) will serve as the host course for the event. It opened in 2003 and was named a top-35 `New Golf Course' in '05 by Golf Digest.
