Poore Runs at NCAAs

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana women's cross country team finished 31st at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday. Wendi Robinson paced the Hoosiers in 66th place. The NCAA appearance is the seventh in school history.
Robinson finished 66th in 21:04. She was followed in by Sarah Pease (125th, 21:29), Chelsea Blanchard (218th, 22:22), Helene DeLone (226th, 22:31), and Caitlin Engel (230th, 22:38).
Andrew Poore finished 137th in the men's race, with a time of 31:16.4.
Next up for the Hoosiers is the indoor track and field season. Indiana will host the Indiana Open on January 9, 2010. For all things IU cross country, stay tuned to IUHoosiers.com.
