Hoosiers Earn Postseason Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana field hockey sophomore Corey Brautigam was named a third team All-American by Longstreth/NFHCA and womensfieldhockey.com, while redshirt freshman Morgan Fleetwood earned all-Rookie team honors from womensfieldhockey.com.
Brautigam, a First-Team All-Big Ten honoree, started 20 of 21 games for the Hoosiers and scored five goals and tallied two assists for 12 points. She recorded 12 shots, seven of which were on goal. O'Connell, a unanimous First-Team All-Big Ten pick, started 20 of IU's 21 games and scored four goals to go along with six assists for 14 points. She tallied 35 shots on the season and is also a 2009 NFHCA Senior All-Star honoree.
Fleetwood, a Second-Team All-Big Ten selection, led the Hoosiers with 15 goals and tallied six assists for a team-high 36 points. She ended the season ranked second in goals and points in IU's single-season record book, and owns the Hoosiers' season record with 89 shots.
