O'Connell, Brautigam, Fleetwood Earn All-Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana field hockey senior Meg O'Connell was one of three players unanimously selected as First Team All-Big Ten by the leagues coaches. Sophomore Corey Brautigam also picked up first team honors and redshirt freshman Morgan Fleetwood was named to the second team.
All three honors are a first for the trio, as O'Connell was named to the second team last season. In 17 games, O'Connell has four goals and five assists for 13 points. Brautigam has tallied three goals and two assists for eight points in 17 games. Fleetwood ended the regular season with a team-best 11 goals to go along with six assists for a team-high 28 points. She also led IU during the Big Ten season with six goals in six games for 12 points.
The Hoosiers (13-5) continue action in the Big Ten Tournament on Friday, Nov. 6, when they face seventh-seeded Penn State in semi-finals at 2 p.m. ET in East Lansing, Mich. Friday's game will be aired live on the Big Ten Network.
