Indiana Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack
Opening Statement:
"We talk about getting better everyday, and if you came here for the Illinois game and you saw this game tonight, you would agree with me that this team got better. We're not about consolation. We're not about effort with no reward. The game is played and you keep score because somebody has got to win. Our goal is to win basketball games. Right now this is one that is tough to swallow because I think we've done everything that we could to win this basketball game."
On losing Whitney Thomas and Kim Roberson to fouls:
"It is hard to play when you don't have those guys out there, especially when we're already minus Sasha Chaplin, and we didn't have any size from the get go. I tell you what, they still knew that they were in the fire."
Sophomore guard Jori Davis
On her big shot at the end of regulation:
"The play was called for Jamie (Braun). It got kind of mixed up obviously, so I stepped back and hit the three. We needed a bucket, so you just have to shoot it. It was a slow start for me. I hit all of my free throws, but the shots weren't falling from the field until that one."
