Wednesday's IU-IPFW Contest Canceled

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Wednesday's contest between the Indiana baseball team and IPFW has been canceled due to field conditions. The game is not expected to be made up due to conflicts in the future schedules of the Hoosiers and Mastodons.

The Hoosiers opened the 2009 season by going 2-1 at the Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge in the greater Tampa area. Indiana defeated Georgetown (12-4) and USF (9-7) at the event while falling to West Virginia (14-4).

IU will travel to Clarksville, Tenn., for the Austin Peay Invitational this weekend. The Hoosiers face Ball State, Austin Peay and Cleveland State in the three-day event. Live audio and stats are available for all contests through IUHoosiers.com.
