Post Game Notes
• The Hoosiers outscored Penn State 31-26 in the paint.
• The Hoosiers led 57-53 with 5:26 to go in the game. It marked the first time this season that IU had led in a game on the road in the final five minutes.
• For the fourth time this season, the Hoosiers had a season-low 11 turnovers.
• The Hoosiers had 13 assists on 21 baskets.
• Indiana had 10 offensive rebounds or more for the 17th time this season.
• Freshman Verdell Jones III had 16 points to tie for game-high honors and had a career-high eight assists to go along with five boards.
• Junior Devan Dumes also had 16 points and found the range from long distance making four of seven three-pointers. He also had a career-high four assists and two steals.
• Freshman Tom Pritchard had 10 points and five boards. It was the second time in three-game he scored double figures.
• Freshman Matt Roth had six points and made two triples, the 12th time this season he has made two or more bombs.
• Freshman Nick Williams had four points and freshman Malik Story had two points.
• Junior Tijan Jobe scored his first basket in Big Ten play.
• Sophomore Brett Finkelmeier played five minutes of solid defense and freshman Daniel Moore also played four minutes.
