COACH WALLMAN'S THOUGHTS
On the team's play last week in Hawai'i:
"I was glad we ended on a good note. We did not play well the first two days but found a way to post the low round of the day on the final round. Anytime you do that it gives you confidence."
On the team's confidence heading into a tournament where they have historically played well:
"The girls are excited to play this weekend. Anytime you have had success it breeds confidence. I think with our strong finish to last weeks tournament and going to Tucson where we have performed well there is a sense of optimism."
On the tournament field this weekend:
"This is the best field we have seen at this event. It is good for us so we can get ready for our stretch run through the conference championship."
