BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Rain arrived in the Bloomington area earlier than expected, and Saturday's game has now been delayed due to inclement weather. First pitch has been tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m.
Minnesota took the Big Ten opener for both teams on Friday, topping the Hoosiers 12-5. Derek McCallum had three hits and scored twice for the Golden Gophers, while A.J. Pettersen had two hits and scored three times. Jake Dunning had a pair of hits and drove in two runs in the loss.
After Saturday's contest, the two teams will face off in the series finale on Sunday at 1 p.m. All games will be played at IU's Sembower Field, where admission is free. Fans can also follow the game with IUHoosiers.com's live audio and GameTracker.
