BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 17 Indiana University women's water polo team will begin postseason play this weekend as they host the CWPA Western Division Championship at Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. The Hoosiers (17-14, 6-1 CWPA West) enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed and will take on No. 7 seed Chatham in first round action at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Indiana will play their second game on Saturday, with their opponent and game time yet to be determined. The final round of games will be played on Sunday.
Indiana wrapped up the regular season with four victories on April 3-5 during a trip to Pennsylvania. The Hoosiers clinched the No. 2 seed by defeating two divisional opponents, Gannon and Mercyhurst. Indiana then knocked off George Washington and picked up a quality road win at Bucknell, which ended an eight game Bison winning streak.
